The Magdalena Project turns 35!

In 2005, a group of incredibly dedicated volunteers joined me in hosting the Magdalena USA- Women, Theatre, Weaving Festival in Providence RI. It was a transformative experience and an offshoot of my exposure to and participation in the Magdalena Project, an international network of women in Contemporary Theatre. In August 2021, the Magdalena Project celebrated its 35th anniversary and one of the network’s founders, Jill Greenhalgh, instigated a cascade of 35 interviews of women who organized gatherings, which are being released weekly through the coming months. I had the great pleasure of being interviewed by Elaine Vaan Hogue, a director, actor, and teacher, who participated in the Magdalena USA festival. Check out the entire catalogue of articles:
