On May 31, I turned in my keys to the Davis Performing Arts Center and completed my close to 4 year journey as the Community Engagement and Development Manager for the Theater & Performance Studies Program at Georgetown University. We did wonderful work together, strengthening networks of a wildly passionate and diverse body of alumni and managing to create meaningful meetings even through the Covid pandemic, but I’ve wanted to be more in the weeds of making my own performance and supporting other performance makers to dream big into their own projects. This June, I’m declaring myself a Creative Project Doula, available to work with you on your performance ideas from conception through to touring, IF that is what is desired. This is an iterative process in which I’ll be doing some call and response, some feedback loops, but mostly excited to blend my directing/dramaturgy passion with my arts management experiences. Here’s to new vistas!
